At Fonterra, we’re committed to creating a safe and trusted experience for everyone exploring a career with us.
Recently, we’ve seen an increase in fraudulent job offers and recruitment scams where individuals or organisations falsely claim to represent those recruiting for roles at Fonterra

These scams are not legitimate and are not connected to Fonterra.

What’s happening
Scammers may contact people through social media, messaging platforms, or email, pretending to offer job opportunities at Fonterra. In some cases, they may request personal information, identity documents, or even payment as part of a fake recruitment process.

We’ve received reports from candidates across multiple channels, including social media and our careers inbox, which has highlighted the need for clearer guidance and support.

How to tell if a job offer is real
All genuine Fonterra recruitment follows a clear and consistent process:
We never ask for payment at any stage of recruitment
We only communicate using an official Fonterra email address
All external recruitment communications are sent from: fonterra.jobs@fonterra.com
Our current opportunities are listed on careers.fonterra.com

If something doesn’t feel right, it’s always worth pausing and checking.
If you think you’ve been contacted by a scammer
Do not respond or engage with the sender
Do not click links or share personal information
    Only trust communications from: fonterra.jobs@fonterra.com
    Forward the communication to: fonterra.jobs@fonterra.com

Sharing these details will help us investigate and take action to shut down fraudulent activity.

Stay safe
Cyber fraud is increasingly sophisticated, and scammers often use real company names, job titles, and publicly available information to make their messages appear credible.
Taking a moment to pause, verify, and check can make all the difference.
