He kupu mō mātou | About us
Our Fleet Services team plays a critical role in supporting Fonterra's end-to-end supply chain, maintaining a milk collection fleet of more than 500 vehicles across New Zealand. By ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable, and compliant, we help connect our farmers to our manufacturing sites every day. Working with industry-leading processes, tools, and technology, our team is focused on delivering exceptional service, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

You'll be at the centre of the supply chain for our workshop, helping minimise downtime and supporting the maintenance of one of New Zealand's largest transport fleets.

Purchase automotive parts, consumables and PPE in line with company procurement policies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Manage inventory levels to ensure parts availability while minimising obsolete stock.
Coordinate the receipt, storage and distribution of parts to workshop teams.
Lead warranty claim processes and liaise with suppliers to maximise successful recoveries.
Monitor purchasing, inventory and payment records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support a safe, organised and efficient stores environment using 5S principles.
Operate material handling equipment and assist with goods movement where required.

Mōu | About You
You'll bring experience in inventory management, purchasing or stores coordination within an automotive, transport, engineering or maintenance environment. You're highly organised, comfortable working with systems and reporting tools, and enjoy building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Ideally you'll have:
Experience managing inventory, parts, purchasing or stores operations.
Strong administration and coordination skills.
Excellent attention to detail and record management capability.
Confidence using inventory management and purchasing systems.
Experience working in automotive, engineering, transport or MRO environments.
An OSH Certificate and Forklift licence with endorsement would be advantageous.
