About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga

We're seeking an experienced kaupapa Māori leader to help shape how Fonterra creates pathways for Māori leadership success across the Co-operative.

This role partners with Fonterra's People & Culture Executive Lead Team and key business leaders to ensure our kaupapa Māori priorities are reflected in leadership frameworks, talent systems, succession planning and organisational culture. The focus is on influencing the decision-makers and systems that support Māori representation, talent, progression and leadership, helping create environments where Māori talent can thrive and succeed as Māori leaders across the Co-operative.

About You | Mōu

This is a strategic role focused on long-term organisational transformation rather than programme delivery. The successful person will help influence the removal of barriers to Māori leadership progression, support the design of more equitable people systems, and build capability across leaders to take ownership of Māori talent outcomes.

We're particularly interested in hearing from people who bring:

• Deep understanding of te ao Māori, Māori leadership and workforce development
• Experience in People & Culture, organisational development or leadership systems, with a Kaupapa Māori HR background being preferred
• The ability to influence senior leaders and shape organisational thinking
• Strong understanding of equity, representation and systemic change
• A commitment to creating sustainable, mana-enhancing pathways for Māori leaders and kaimahi to thrive within the Co-operative.
