At Fonterra Te Mātāpuna, we want everyone to feel they can be themselves.

Whether you're early in your career or ready for your next step, Fonterra offers a unique opportunity to grow with a global dairy co-operative that values care, collaboration, and contribution.

Owned by New Zealand dairy farmers and supported by a dedicated team, we are all working together to create a better future. Imagine tomorrow with us, where your career can grow, and you can create positive change.

About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga

We’re looking for an experienced HSW Insights and Learning Manager to join our Global HSW team on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis.

The HSW Systems, Planning and Learning team enables the Co‑op to continually improve health, safety and wellbeing outcomes globally through clear plans, human‑centred solutions to complex system‑wide issues, and learning from reviews, assurance activity, events and good work practices.

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in strengthening how Fonterra measures, understands and learns from HSW performance. You’ll lead the development of meaningful insights and reporting that support effective decision‑making at Board, executive and operational levels.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Building and continuously improving data products, power BI dashboards and data integrity processes to enable credible, sustainable data and insights reporting
  • Leading the design and delivery of global HSW insights and performance reporting for the Board, FMT and line leaders
  • Shaping and evolving the global HSW performance measurement framework using evidence‑informed, systems‑based indicators
  • Partnering closely with the HSW Risk and Assurance team and other stakeholders to deliver assurance based insights and reporting
  • Driving a strong culture of learning through a streamlined, whole‑of‑organisation approach to learning from significant events and unexpected outcomes
This role provides an excellent opportunity to operate at an enterprise level, influence global outcomes, and contribute to continuous improvement across the Co‑op.

About You | Mōu
You’re a confident and credible leader with exceptional influencing skills and a strong ability to build trusted relationships across senior stakeholders. You naturally think in systems, are highly analytical, and enjoy solving complex, organisation‑wide challenges.

You’ll also bring:
  • Qualifications in data analysis, insights generation, intelligence or a related discipline (health and safety knowledge desirable)
  • Detailed, robust knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (essential)
  • Significant experience leading teams delivering health and safety and/or risk‑related intelligence, insights and reporting
  • Proven experience engaging and communicating with Boards and senior leaders on health and safety and/or risk performance
  • Strong understanding of complex sociotechnical systems concepts
  • Knowledge of contemporary, systems‑based approaches to health and safety
  • Deep familiarity with statistical analysis, data presentation and high‑quality reporting practices
