About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga
We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Category Manager – Logistics to join the team on a 10-month fixed-term contract, covering an upcoming maternity leave.

This is a high-impact role with ownership of the logistics category within Group Procurement, responsible for driving value across a critical and complex spend area. You will lead the development and execution of category strategy, deliver sourcing initiatives, and establish high-performing supplier partnerships that support the effectiveness and resilience of the logistics network.

Partnering closely with Global Supply Chain and key stakeholders across Procurement, Operations, Finance and Legal, you will ensure procurement activity is fully aligned to business priorities. You will balance cost, service, and risk considerations to deliver sustainable, commercially sound outcomes, leveraging your understanding of the end-to-end logistics value chain to influence decision-making.

As a senior member of the team, you will also lead supplier performance and governance, manage complex negotiations, and proactively respond to market dynamics, cost drivers, and supply risk to strengthen capability and optimise performance across the network.

About You | Mōu
You are an experienced procurement professional with strong expertise in complex logistics environments and the ability to operate confidently across the full value chain. You bring a relevant qualification alongside demonstrated experience in category management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.

You have a proven track record delivering end-to-end sourcing activity, leading complex commercial negotiations, and managing supplier and contract performance. Your approach is grounded in strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to balance cost, service, risk, and long-term value to achieve high-quality outcomes.

You are a capable relationship builder who engages and influences senior stakeholders, building alignment across functions and partnering effectively with Global Supply Chain and the wider business. Equally comfortable operating at both a strategic and delivery level, you bring a pragmatic mindset, sound judgement, and the ability to navigate complexity, prioritise effectively, and drive continuous improvement.
