The Opportunity

As a Regional Account Manager QLD with Lactalis – Mainland Dairy, you will build and maintain robust business relationships with Distributors and End Users in the Brisbane / Western Corridor territory of Queensland with planned regional trips, whilst executing key Distributor and End User activity plans.

Reporting to the AU Sales Manager North, you will be joining our experienced and passionate Foodservice Sales team. You will be responsible for achieving budgets within your territory and contribute to plans that provide profitable growth opportunities for Mainland Dairy. 

In this role, you will:

  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities within the distributor and end user network.
  • Communication and activity coordination with end user sales teams.
  • Assist in developing accurate sales forecasts by notifying changes to the appropriate account manager.
  • Market and pricing intel shared to help inform sales tactics.

Based at our Hendra office, this role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work model with work-from-home (WFH) ability.

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in Foodservice or FMCG sales. 
  • 1-5 years of selling and negotiation experience.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strengths in problem-solving and strategic thinking.
