Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Trade Marketing Assistant Manager to join our Foodservice team in Indonesia.

Reporting to the National Category & Customer Development Manager- Indonesia, this role is responsible for developing, executing, and evaluating trade marketing activities across channels and key accounts. The role plays a critical part in product activation, new product launches, and ensuring strong alignment between channel strategies and in‑market execution.

You will work closely with Channel Managers, Key Account teams, Sales, Marketing, and external partners to deliver impactful trade marketing programs that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Define and develop clear product communication that highlights features and benefits.
  • Develop and execute trade marketing and product activation initiatives tailored to specific channels.
  • Coordinate trade activities/programs closely with Channel Managers and Key Account teams.
  • Lead activation activities for new product launches across channels.
  • Support evaluation of trade activities performance against agreed objectives.
  • Plan and deliver trade marketing events such as masterclasses, product activations, and industry engagements.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual promotional and trade marketing plans across Foodservice Indonesia.
  • Monitor rolling 12‑month trade marketing and promotional calendars across channels and accounts.
  • Build short‑term forecasts for promotional activities by product, channel, and key customer.
  • Track, evaluate, and report on promotion effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Develop trade marketing tools and templates to support channel and key account execution.
  • Monitor and report on trade marketing budget utilisation.
  • Manage the distribution and use of POSM materials.


Mōu | About You

You are a results‑driven trade marketing professional who enjoys working cross‑functionally and bringing strategies to life in market. You are analytical, organised, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Key attributes include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably from a leading or reputable university).
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Trade Marketing or Sales (Foodservice experience is an advantage). 
  • Strong understanding of trade marketing, promotions, sales execution, and merchandising.
  • Experience developing and executing trade‑specific activation programs.
  • Solid analytical capability, including forecasting and promotion evaluation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
