About the role

Reporting to the Country Head of Foodservice, the General Services Manager provides a range of operational services that are critical to the effective functioning of the business day-to-day. These services include general office/facilities management support; operational procurement/purchasing; HSW support (serving as a champion for HSW in the local office); administrative HR support (including contingent workforce oversight) and managing interaction and local compliance related activity with local labour agencies/government bodies.


Key Accountabilities

  • Office & Facilities Management: Ensure smooth daily operations, workspace readiness, and coordination of outsourced services
  • Administrative & Workforce Support: Manage general admin functions and oversee contingent workforce effectiveness to support operational efficiency. 
  • Regulatory Compliance: Act as liaison with local authorities, ensuring full compliance with labor laws and employment regulations. 
  • Payroll & Tax Coordination: Oversee payroll processes and support local tax matters in collaboration with HR, Finance, and external vendors. 
  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Lead sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to deliver cost-effective, compliant services. 
  • Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW): Champion HSW initiatives, monitor risks, and ensure alignment with regional and local standards. 
Stakeholders to work with:
  • Internal: Finance, Legal, IT, Foodservice Business Head, FS Global and Regional stakeholders
  • External: Local government authorities, labor agencies, vendors and service providers

About You


Must have
  • Proven experience in office management, administration, and procurement 
  • Strong knowledge of local authority procedures, labor laws, government agency processes and compliance requirements.
  • Skilled in vendor management, labor contracts, and service delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organization, and problem-solving abilities 
  • Strong analytical and influencing skills, Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Customer service mindset with strong planning and relationship-building skills
  • Able to handle complex tasks independently (only 1 contingent staff under this role) 
  • Experienced in coordinating visitor arrangements 
Nice to have
  • Experience with payroll coordination and basic tax regulations
  • Knowledge of HSW standards and practices
  • Experience working with external consultants (e.g. tax, legal, payroll)
