About us | He kupu mō mātou
Whareroa is one of our largest sites. Along with a 7-hectare distribution centre and over 1000 employees, our site boasts a total of 11 plants which includes four milk powder plants, two cheese plants, a cream plant, a anhydrous milk fat plant plus a whey protein and casein plant. We have the capability to process an impressive 12 million litres of milk per day in peak season.

About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga
We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Administration Lead to join our Whareroa site. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you’ll take the lead in coordinating site administration and supporting the smooth, efficient running of day-to-day operations.
You’ll be the key point of contact for administration across the site—supporting the leadership team and wider business with diary and meeting coordination, site communications, reporting, site visits, and event support. You’ll also play an important role in keeping key activities on track through strong systems, follow-up, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating site administration workflows and improving processes and systems
Preparing documentation and producing accurate minutes, actions, and reports
Supporting data collection and reporting, and tracking key dates and requirements
Coordinating meetings and events (logistics, catering, visitors and enquiries)
Supporting site requirements including BCP activities, procurement support, and compliance tracking
Practical coordination such as vehicle fleet administration and site security access/support

This role is full-time on site, Monday to Friday.

About You | Mōu

You’re a capable, proactive administrator who enjoys supporting others and building positive working relationships. You’re organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and service.

You’ll bring:

  • Solid administration experience, ideally in a busy site or operational environment
  • Strong planning, prioritisation, and follow-through, with great attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong MS Office skills and the ability to learn new systems (SAP ideal, not essential)
  • Discretion when handling sensitive information and a practical approach to compliance, safety and quality
  • A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to take ownership of getting things done
