Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity

We have vacancies in our newly formed Sales Operations Team to service our largest customer – Mainland Dairy (Lactalis)

Are you a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Operations Executive ready to support our front-line sales teams and ensure seamless order fulfilment. This role is a vital link between sales and logistics, helping to align customer planning with delivery execution. You’ll play a key part in upholding the customer promise through accurate data management, process compliance, and strong internal and external relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely creation of contracts, quotes, and sales orders in SAP.
  • Monitor contract consumption and proactively manage order book health.
  • Liaise with internal teams and customers to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage demand changes in APO and support forecasting activities.
  • Oversee the Letter of Credit process and export documentation requirements.
  • Track and resolve customer complaints, ensuring satisfaction and compliance.
  • Support invoicing processes and assist in managing overdue payments.
  • Provide insights and reporting using systems like ECC, CRM, GTS, and Demand Planning.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in regional projects and initiatives.

Mōu | About You

You’ll have a tertiary qualification and experience in customer service, with a strong working knowledge of SAP and reporting tools. Your excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail will help you thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. You’ll be confident managing data, solving problems, and building relationships across teams and with customers. Experience in demand planning and relevant language skills are a plus.
