Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity
Step into a pivotal leadership role where you’ll shape the success of the largest sales region. Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, you will lead a high-performing team, drive commercial results, and foster a collaborative, growth-focused culture across grocery and foodservice channels. In addition to this you will:

  • Implement the regional sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue, margin, and market share targets across all channels
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of seven Business Development Managers and motivate a network of franchisees to deliver world-class execution
  • Build and execute regional sales plans to increase product availability, visibility, and customer centricity, working closely with key grocery retailers and distributors
  • Set clear KPIs, manage performance, and ensure effective use of sales tools and technologies to drive accountability and results
  • Act as the critical link between field sales and head office, advocating for your team and articulating challenges and opportunities to senior stakeholders

You’re an inspiring commercial leader with a passion for people, performance, and partnership. You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, and are ready to make a real impact in a collaborative, high-growth team. You will bring:

  • Senior-level experience in FMCG, ideally across grocery, foodservice, and distributor channels
  • Proven people leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing sales teams
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive results through strategic planning and execution
  • Skills in building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • A growth mindset, ready to challenge boundaries, embrace complexity, and champion continuous improvement
