About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Program Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This fast paced and varied role within the PMO is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of programs across the Fonterra Oceania business. 

As the Program Manager, you will lead multi-disciplined teams across various projects, ensuring alignment from start-up through to post-implementation reviews.

Reporting to the Head of PMO Oceania, you will lead smaller scale projects from feasibility to Business As Usual (BAU) operation, and provide project management support for complex/large scale programs.

You will also:

  • Support the development of a comprehensive program plan. 
  • Manage work streams, track deliverables, and lead effective communication plans. 
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting. 
  • Develop strong relationships with Business Unit leads, stakeholders, and sponsors. 
  • Determine escalation requirements for project progress or timing issues.

This role will see you based at our Richmond office (FREE parking), with work-from-home (WFH) flexibility. 

About You

You will have demonstrable Program Management experience, gained within the food / FMCG industry, working in cross-functional projects. 

Critical to your success in this position will be your outstanding organisation skills, teamed with your excellent oral and written communication skills.  

You will demonstrate a professional approach to project delivery, risk management, budget control and highly honed stakeholder management skills. 

You will also have:

  • 3-5 years Program Management experience. 
  • Experience in business case development, risk management, stakeholder management, and budget management.
  • Relevant Project Management qualifications.
  • Degree qualification in Business Management, Supply Chain Operations, or equivalent will be highly regarded.
  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft; Project, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
