Product Integration Lead - Powders
Position Description
Are you passionate about shaping the future of dairy ingredients? We're searching for two Product Integration Leads who will play a pivotal role in bringing our powder products to market — one focusing on Regular Milk Powders and Concentrates (PIL - Powders and Concentrates), and the other across Accessible Dairy Powders & Instant milk powders (PIL - Powders and Accessible Dairy)
These roles sit at the heart of Global Ingredients, connecting customer needs, market insights, product strategy, innovation and commercial enablement to ensure our powder portfolio continues to lead globally.
**These roles are location agnostic to Auckland, Palmerston North, Hamilton**
As a Product Integration Lead, you will enable the execution of product strategy by validating technical feasibility, supporting lifecycle management, and driving cross‑functional alignment across R&D, operations, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams.
You will build a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive forces, and use these insights to influence product positioning and strategic direction. Your work ensures products are commercially viable, operationally scalable, and market‑ready.
You will also support commercial teams through the development of product collateral, tools, and insights that bring the story of our powders to life — helping customers understand the value and differentiation our ingredients provide.
Two roles available:
- Product Integration Lead – Powders & Concentrates
- Product Integration Lead – Powders & Accessible Dairy
Both roles share the same core responsibilities, with portfolio focus determining day‑to‑day emphasis.
Key Accountabilities:
Customer & Market Understanding
- Analyse customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights to shape product strategy and innovation pathways.
Product Strategy Development
- Develop and maintain strategic plans for your product categories, focusing on positioning, differentiation, and growth opportunities.
Innovation Opportunity Identification
- Identify and scope innovation opportunities to feed the pipeline and strengthen future portfolio competitiveness.
Product Lifecycle Management
- Lead products from launch through maturity to retirement, ensuring operational efficiency and ongoing commercial relevance.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure strategies are understood, aligned, and executed effectively.
Commercial Enablement
- Develop the content for product collateral, insights, and tools that support effective customer engagement and market success.
You bring strong experience in technical, commercial, or product‑focused roles and are energised by shaping the future of dairy ingredients. You’re commercially curious, comfortable working across multiple functions, and confident translating customer and market insights into clear product strategies.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, can influence without authority, and enjoy owning the end‑to‑end product lifecycle. You’re analytical, structured, and proactive — with the ability to engage both technical and commercial audiences.

Key Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a technical or product‑related environment
- Strong ability to influence across functions and environments
- Experience in product development, product management, supply chain, or technical sales (advantageous)
- Commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret customer and market needs
- Skilled in analysing product performance, feasibility, and customer relevance
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage projects and product life cycles end‑to‑end
