Expressions of Interest

We are always keen to hear expression of interest across our FBNZ Team. Working on a rostered shift pattern, a role as an Operator is a fantastic opportunity if you are serious about advancing your career and keen to be part of a highly motivated and supportive team.  

As a Process or Packing Operator, you'll be working  on the factory floor where your key responsibilities may include:

• Setting up, checking and running automated production machinery
• Performing quality checks to ensure production meets world class standards
• Cleaning and maintaining machinery
• Packing our products for distribution 
• Forklift operation  (current F and OSH would be helpful, but is not essential)

About you 

Your strong mechanical aptitude, planning and sound problem-solving skills will ensure things run smoothly; you won’t just find the problem, you'll be part of finding and implementing the solution. 

Together with a good work ethic and a strong focus on health and safety, and  able to show a background of: 

• Participating and contributing to a high performing team
• Being flexible, adaptable and willing to learn
• Have a good level of physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 20kg
• Experience within food manufacturing would be desirable

You will need to supply proof of your eligibility to work in New Zealand. Documents you can use are:

• NZ passport OR
• NZ birth certificate AND valid photo ID (AND proof of name change if applicable e.g., Marriage Certificate) OR
• Foreign passport with valid visa
