Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity
CPM is the home of volatility, owning Fonterra’s commodity price risk and managing both the physical and financial commodity portfolios to reduce margin volatility and generate value. CPM are Fonterra’s experts on global supply and demand, spot and forward commodity prices and milk economics.

The CPM FP&A team is responsible for delivering reporting, forecasting, analysis, and actionable insights that assist the business to deliver on strategy and performance promises

The key focus of the Manager FP&A is to lead all consolidated CPM financial planning activities including monthly EBIT forecasts, 3-year business planning and the annual operating budget.  It is also responsible for monthly reporting and the provision of information and analysis to support external results announcements.  You will take ownership of the planning process to ensure a robust forecast of business performance is developed.  This includes challenging inputs to the process and highlighting key risks and opportunities for the business to achieve its annual forecast. This role is also responsible for maintaining strong links with the wider commercial community and the sales regions.     

Mōu | About You
You will bring strong financial management expertise, advanced system knowledge, and sound commercial experience.  You will leverage exceptional process and project management skills to drive an accelerated forecasting and budgeting cycle, while applying commercial acumen to influence and support critical business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have:
Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance (professional accounting qualification preferred). 
At least 8 years’ experience in commercial analysis and financial planning. 
Strong technical expertise in financial management and reporting systems. 
Ability to build complex business models and integrate data from multiple sources. 
Excellent relationship management and influencing skills. 
Strong communication and analytical skills. 
Experience in SAP, BO4, CFIN, AFO (preferred). 
Industry experience in commodities, dairy, or manufacturing (advantageous).
