Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity

Our new Capability Deployment & Delivery team focuses on delivering impactful learning solutions, with an emphasis on self service to create a seamless and engaging learner experience across the Co op.

As the License to Operate (LTO) Training Coordinator, you’ll support the delivery of practical, relevant learning and capability initiatives across manufacturing sites nationwide. A core aspect of the role is ensuring training is compliant, current, and fit for purpose, aligning with operational needs, business priorities, and a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will bring a high level of initiative and a strong work ethic to proactively support stakeholders and drive outcomes.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring training frameworks consistently meet internal governance requirements and stand up to external scrutiny, including audit requirements, NZQA expectations, unit standard requirements, and relevant legislation. This role balances strong compliance discipline with continuous improvement, supporting our people to have the right skills, at the right time, to operate safely, legally, and effectively.

Please note, this is a 7 month Fixed Term Contract.

Mōu | About You

You bring relevant experience coordinating learning initiatives, ideally in compliance driven, regulated, or operational environments, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities. You have strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with training records, evidence, and audit ready documentation.

You’re system savvy and comfortable working across multiple platforms, including experience with a Learning Management System, and you’re highly proficient in MS Office applications. You understand the importance of maintaining consistent, compliant training frameworks and have experience working with learning standards, with familiarity in FSQ, Health & Safety, and regulatory requirements relevant to training delivery.

You communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally, enabling you to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, resolve compliance related queries, and build strong working relationships with internal teams and external vendors. You enjoy collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups and are proactive in identifying and contributing to continuous improvement opportunities that strengthen compliance, capability, and learning outcomes.
