About us | He kupu mō mātou
Our Clandeboye site is Fonterra’s largest manufacturing site, with 11 plants processing, at peak up to 13 million litres of milk per day through some of the biggest dryers in the world. We employee over 1,200 people across the value stream all bringing a diverse range of skills, expertise and thought to our operation.

About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the AMF Milk Treatment team as a L8 Supervisor. You will be responsible for supervising, coaching, and developing a close-knit and engaged team to deliver outstanding results in our manufacturing operations. The size, scale, and dynamic nature of our plant operation is a fast-paced and an exciting environment to work in. You will also have the opportunity to work with others to influence team culture and drive change.
 
Keeping a strong focus on Health & Safety, you’ll monitor and manage all parts of our processing Plant while optimising plant efficiency and operating costs. Your strong attention to detail will ensure you can keep an eye on quality control while maintaining products to tight customer specifications and ensuring documentation is up to date. 
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and allocating work and resources to ensure production targets are met and optimised
  • Leading and motivating the team as well as providing feedback on staff performance, development plans, and resolving people issues when required 
  • Managing time and attendance systems
  • Creating a successful working environment that inspires the team
  • Working and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participating and leading problem solves.
This is a permanent position working a rostered shift pattern of 2 days, 2 nights (12hours) followed by 4 rostered days off.
