He kupu mō mātou | About us
We have an opportunity for two L6 Purchasing and Inventory Administrators based in the Waikato. This role will be reporting to the L8 Inventory Specialist and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the procurement, receipting, storage, and distribution of goods and services for the site Engineering and Consumables Stores primarily one based at Hautapu – 4 months and one based at Te Awamutu - 6 month

Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing and Inventory Administrator to join our Waikato teams.
In this role you will support the manufacturing and engineering teams by ensuring that they have access to goods that they need when they need them. With your impeccable attention to detail your day will focus on ordering, receiving, and receipting goods into the store, ensuring they are accurately recorded and stored.

You will be required to:
  • Learn what really makes a difference to your customers, providing advice and delivering impeccable service.
  • Maintain and develop effective working relationships with your customers and suppliers.
  • Undertake all administrative duties for inventory management, picking, purchasing and stores functions.
  • Carry out stock takes and reporting as required.
  • Provide support to the rest of the stores team as they strive to continue to deliver a first-class customer experience.

Mōu | About You
Your ability to self-manage and prioritise demands will set you apart from the rest. While your dairy and/or engineering background would be an asset and welcome, it is your stores, inventory, food safety and solid administration background that we see as important.

Other key skills and experience include: 
  • Forklift experience with an F endorsement and current OSH certificate is highly desirable
  • Experience in chemical handling and dangerous goods/approved handler licenses (advantageous but not essential)
  • Experience using computerised purchasing and inventory systems preferable
  • SAP knowledge and strong skills in the MS suite. Customer focus and communication skills second to none.
  • Strong focus on health and safety, food hygiene and housekeeping.

We have 2 positions available both are secondments.
Hautapu site March – June 2026
Te Awamutu site March - August 2026
