Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Lead to join our ServiceNow team on a permanent basis at our vibrant head office in Auckland.

As the IT Technical Product Lead for ServiceNow, you'll directly report to the Functional Consulting Practice Lead within the Business Solutions Chapter and work alongside both the Product Owner and IT Teams. Your main responsibilities include supporting business projects and enhancements by researching potential solutions, creating thorough design documentation at both high-level and detailed stages, and configuring and testing system components. The role requires close collaboration with the Platform Team to deliver effective solutions that generate business value and achieve set goals.

A strong understanding of relevant systems coupled with expertise in aligning technology with business processes, is required. You will have the opportunity in this role to provide both technical and business support, ensuring all implementations meet customer, business, and IT objectives.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Act as a key liaison between senior business stakeholders, product owners, and IT teams to ensure clear communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Analyse and interpret complex business issues, providing actionable recommendations and solutions that support organisational goals.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that IT solutions meet business needs and are delivered in the language of the business.
  • Lead and support the deployment of ServiceNow modules and integrations, bringing a high level of technical expertise and hands-on implementation experience.
  • Drive successful delivery of projects and programmes using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, effectively prioritising tasks and managing timelines to achieve results.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth, adapting to change and fostering a culture of learning and improvement.

Mōu | About You
You are a curious and collaborative professional with a deep understanding of solution modules and business processes within your domain. Adept at interpreting business requirements and translating them into effective technical solutions, you possess strong technical skills and a growing knowledge of best-practice tools and methodologies. Your ability to thrive in cross-functional teams, combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ensures you consistently deliver value and drive successful outcomes.

You will also bring:
  • Tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related business discipline.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience as an IT technical product lead—specifically in ServiceNow—within the relevant solution domain.
  • Proven track record in implementing system solutions in the applicable field.
