At Fonterra, we want everyone to feel they can be themselves.

Whether you're early in your career or ready for your next step, Fonterra offers a unique opportunity to grow with a global dairy co-operative that values care, collaboration, and contribution.

Owned by New Zealand dairy farmers and supported by a dedicated team, we are all working together to create a better future. Imagine tomorrow with us, where your career can grow, and you can create positive change.

Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity

As the Head of Change Management, you play a critical role in ensuring change is delivered effectively and sustainably. You take a holistic, end to end view of change activity across the business unit, ensuring priorities are clear and change management is well coordinated to deliver lasting value.

You provide leadership, oversight, and assurance across significant change management initiatives, working closely with senior leaders, sponsors, and change practitioners to strengthen capability and improve how change is led day to day. You ensure impacts are understood, priorities are balanced, and change activity is aligned across the organisation.

Mōu | About You

You’re a confident and pragmatic change leader who brings an enterprise mindset and is comfortable working in complex, evolving environments.

You navigate organisational complexity with ease and bring the tenacity and focus needed to balance competing priorities and outcomes with stakeholder buy-in. You’re comfortable operating in the grey, providing clarity and direction for leaders, change management practitioners, and delivery teams.

You communicate clearly and effectively, taking an enterprise view to ensure change delivers value not just for one business unit, but for the wider Co operative. As a recognised change management subject matter expert, you bring strong technical depth alongside sound planning and organisational capability — ensuring change management portfolios are well planned, appropriately resourced, and positioned to deliver optimal value.
