Mō tēnei tūranga | About the opportunity
As a Finance Business Partner Product Costing, you’ll play a key role in enabling strong commercial decision making across manufacturing and product portfolios.  Partnering closely with operations, product managers, and senior stakeholders, you’ll translate complex product cost data into clear insights that drive performance, optimise investment decisions, and support long term value creation across Fonterra.

A few areas of focus will be to:
  • Partner with manufacturing and product stakeholders to provide trusted costing insight and commercial advice
  • Own and evolve product cost models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and transparency
  • Support business cases, capital investment decisions, and strategic initiatives with robust analysis
  • Translate complex datasets into decision ready insights using modelling, visuals, and storytelling
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardisation, and system enhancement
Mōu | About you
You’re a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working close to the business and influencing outcomes through insight rather than control.  You bring a balance of technical strength and stakeholder confidence, and you’re comfortable challenging thinking to improve performance.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong experience in finance or business partnering, ideally within manufacturing or product based environments
  • Proven capability in product costing, financial modelling, and performance analysis
  • Confidence partnering with senior and operational stakeholders, using data to tell clear commercial stories
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with interest in automation, systems, and better ways of working
  • Advanced analytical skills and experience with tools such as SAP, Power BI, or similar platforms
