He kupu mō mātou | About us
Recognised as the best in Milk collection, our National Transport team brings together expertise to lead our people, delivering safe and efficient milk collection for the ongoing success of the Co-op.

Our Build Team is responsible for the successful decommission and build of up to 70 Milk Collection trucks and trailers.  This programme of work requires extensive planning, vendor engagement, co-ordination and precise execution to deliver a successful annual build.

Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity
Joining us on a fixed term contract until 20 November 2026 as the Automotive Purchasing and Inventory Co-Ordinator at our Morrinsville Service Centre and reporting to the Automotive Purchasing and Inventory Manager for the North Island, you will be an integral member of our Build Service Team.

Working closely with our Fleet Build workshop team, you'll primarily be office based championing vendor management, accurately managing inventory and creating and managing purchase orders but will have plenty of variety with the picking and packing of orders, cycle counting, reconciliations, material creates and management of inwards/outwards goods for our Inventory Sore.  This role also includes providing remote support to other sites, with occasional travel required.

This an exceptional opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment on our innovative Tanker build projects.

To be successful in this role you'll be a quick learner, great communicator and be able to self-manage and work autonomously.

The ideal person will be project and process driven along with the strong attention to detail, able to analyse data with excellent organising and proritising skills.

Key skills include:
  • Experience in an inventory role and/or project management.
  • Ability to work well with little supervision.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (experience with SAP and the Microsoft Suite).
  • Experience using V Lookups and Pivot tables in Microrsoft Excel.
  • OSH certified forklift licence with F endorsement (not essential but would be an advantage.
