About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga

We’re looking for an AML Compliance Administrator to join our team and play a key role in supporting our Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance programme.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for completing customer due diligence for our customers and farmer entities, ensuring all AML documentation is accurate, compliant, and up to date. You’ll manage caseloads efficiently, resolve queries with precision, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen our compliance framework.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Completing customer due diligence in line with AML/CFT legislation and company policy
  • Delivering a high standard of service to customers and farmer entities
  • Managing escalations proactively and ensuring timely resolution
  • Staying up to date with AML/CFT training, regulatory requirements, and legislative changes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance compliance outcomes               
About You | Mōu

You’re detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You bring strong analytical capability, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy.

To be successful, you’ll bring:
  • Secondary school qualifications (AML/compliance certifications such as CAMS are a bonus)
  • 2+ years’ experience in AML/CFT, banking, legal, professional services, or risk/audit environments
  • Strong administrative capability with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach
  • Experience engaging with a range of stakeholders in a large or complex organisation
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong planning, organisation, and attention to detail
  • Analytical thinking with sound investigative and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence navigating complex customer conversations and queries
Nice to have (but not essential):
  • Experience managing customer escalations within an AML or compliance environment
  • Exposure to transaction monitoring is sufficient

These additional skills would be highly regarded and may open up future permanent opportunities within the team.
