Position Description

  • Key Account Management experience with MNCs in the FMCG industry 
  • Proven track record in managing minimarket accounts with strong attention to detail and data analysis.
  • Experience in trade marketing is a plus.

Role purpose

To build and nurture strong relationships with key customers while fostering effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, all in support of achieving company’s strategic goals.

Role Accountabilities

  • Ensure flawless execution of the 4P strategy (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) across all key accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Operations teams to develop and implement customer-centric category strategies and deliver best-in-class 4P execution.
  • Partner with the Operations team to consistently meet or exceed customer service level expectations.
  • Own the delivery of Customer and Channel plans, ensuring achievement of sales targets and optimal trade spend utilization.
  • Work with Trade Marketing to align and implement optimized 4P strategies that support both category and customer objectives.
  • Lead the negotiation process for annual trade terms in partnership with the Key PIC Buyer for relevant categories.
  • Develop and manage customer promotion calendars and product launch plans to drive growth and engagement.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Achievement of sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Effective management of trade investment and profitability.
  • Contribution to category growth and strategic business planning.
  • Delivery of impactful business reviews with customers.
  • Execution of key initiatives and strategic projects.


About You 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Key Account Manager within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record managing minimarket accounts (e.g., Indomaret), with strong attention to detail and data analysis.
  • Experience in trade marketing is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a multinational company (MNC) environment is preferred.
  • Deep expertise in Key Account Management and Joint Business Planning (JBP).
  • Strong operational management capabilities, particularly in executing 5Ps strategies with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret complex sales and customer data.
  • Solid business acumen and strategic mindset.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently
