About the role
We are looking for an Inventory Controller to oversee inventory management working across our head office in Richmond and Logistics hubs in the Western area. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory control processes while supporting the broader supply chain and operational teams. The role also offers flexibility, with the ability to work from home on designated days.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records for sites and third-party warehouses, ensuring data integrity in the system
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities to meet production demands
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies through root-cause analysis and corrective actions on systems and interfaced documents
- Work closely with supply chain, operations, and finance teams to optimize inventory management
- Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Champion best practices in inventory control and contribute to process improvement projects
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a detail-oriented and analytical professional with experience in inventory management. Your ability to collaborate across teams, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement will be key to your success. You can also demonstrate:
- Proven experience in an inventory control or supply chain role, preferably in food manufacturing, dairy, or FMCG industries
- Strong understanding of inventory and warehouse management systems and ERP platforms.
- Ability to create reports, analyse data, identify trends, and implement effective solution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
