About COO

Step into the dynamic world of Fonterra's COO Business Unit, where our teams contribute to our NZ manufacturing site and global supply chain operations, help uphold technical excellence and work with our global safety, quality, and regulatory teams.

About the opportunity

We are seeking expressions of intertest for individuals to work in our Whareroa and Collingwood St sites for fixed term contracts for the 2025 season.

When our products are ready to ship, we are supported by our team of professional forklift drivers across our New Zealand Distribution Centres. With safety, customer service and quality at the forefront, their role is crucial in ensuring that we keep our dairy products moving around New Zealand and the world. They are a highly motivated and well organized team who know the importance of getting the right products to the right place at the right time.

Driving modern forklifts, with ultramodern technology supporting them and working across a variety of shift rosters, key responsibilities are:

• Loading and unloading pallets to ensure they are stored correctly
• Picking/packing and sending products to the correct location efficiently and accurately
• Effective fleet management
• Stock quality management

About you

Our team are looking for more professional forklift operators to join them. You will need to be passionate about what you do, and you will be future focused on making a positive contribution to our business every day.

We’ll offer you a varied role, where no two days are the same but there are some things that you will need for us to consider you:

• An F endorsed forklift licence and current OSH Certificate
• A minimum 6-month forklift experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre environment
• Computer knowledge, SAP experience is desirable
• Extensive experience working in a fast paced environment
• Flexibility to rostered shift work – both nights and days A good dose of physical strength as our products can weigh up to 25kg
