Mō tēnei tūranga | About the opportunity
As the FP&A Centre of Excellence (CoE) Lead, you will bring deep understanding of leading practices, trends, and process design in finance and particularly in the FP&A domain, and be at the forefront of identifying, standardising, and optimising key finance processes.   You will collaborate with our finance stakeholders, champion process innovation and position the FP&A function as a strategic enabler of business insights and decision-making through leading and implementing these transformative capability uplifts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and execute opportunities for FP&A process standardisation and optimisation, collaborating with stakeholders across finance, technology, and operations throughout the inception and embedding of these opportunities.
  • Establish governance frameworks and mechanisms to continuously improve finance processes globally, leveraging tools, ideation sessions, and process repositories such as Signavio.
  • Identify opportunities for FP&A process improvement. Gather and integrate feedback from stakeholders to refine improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with the Co-op strategic direction.
  • Partner with senior leaders across the business to deliver strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding in FP&A, and other finance functional areas such as RTR, ITC, STP, MDM, and FP&A processes.
  • Actively participate in the relevant CoE forums by sharing insights, leading practices, and lessons learned to foster collective growth and innovation.
  • Design and deliver training initiatives to upskill finance teams on new tools, skills, processes, and best practices.
