Position Description

We are looking for an assistant brand manager to drive execution (based on consumer, shopper, and customer insights) for the Consumer brands portfolio (Anchor and Anlene), in order to deliver on the agreed share, revenue, and EBIT targets for MEA consumer business.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Contribution to setting and delivering growth objectives for the portfolio-specifically revenue, share, and profit targets in line with the overall FBME strategic objectives.
  • Support portfolio management and optimization across all the consumer brands and product lines. This role must protect and ultimately build brand presence/equity/value through effective management of the full marketing mix with a focus on meaningful brand differentiation & proposition development (consumer-led).
  • Leverage data and insights to deliver both short- and long-term innovation agenda for portfolio, ensuring that a robust (validated) balanced innovation pipeline is in place to support the category and brand strategy, leveraging both the local and global brand portfolio as appropriate.
  • Leadership and management of the portfolio, contributing and sharing marketing knowledge, engaged and agile team with clearly prioritized initiatives. Champion high-performance culture through leading self, others, and the business.
  • Monitor and track brand and competition share & performance to identify risks & opportunities. Recommend and implement action plans to address risk or opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of ATL and BTL communication for brands and execution of media strategies.
  • Manage the A&P budget efficiently to achieve agreed brand profitability via coordinating with media agency for cost efficient media planning, supply chain for promotional material buying, creative agency for cost effective communication assets, and customer marketing for trade promotions/shopper activation
  • Manage Innovation-to-Market process, review the progress in each stage, drive cross – functional collaboration and ensure new products/ concepts are launched in the market on time where applicable.
  • Co-ordinate with sales team and support activities to ensure achievement of target sales volume.


You would possess the following:

  • MBA, Master of Business Administration, Major in Marketing
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Brands with an FMCG company
  • Proven track record in/working with Project Management, Brand Management, data analytics and Digital Marketing.
