Established in 1976, our Pahiatua site specialises in producing whole milk powder that is exported to markets around the world. The latest expansion in 2015 saw the site add a new 15 metric tonne dryer, as well as a new waste water treatment plant. Our site has the lowest water to milk ratio of any site in the country.

Our Pahiatua site specialises in producing whole milk powder that is exported to markets around the world. During peak milking season, Pahiatua processes up to 4 million litres of milk every day.
We have an opportunity for a Packing Operator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are someone who is serious about their career and keen to be part of a highly motivated and supportive team.
As a Packing Operator, your key responsibilities will be:
* Setting up, monitoring and operating automated production machinery.
* Performing quality checks to ensure our product meets world class standards.
* Running machine diagnostics and problem solving.
This is a full-time permanent role. Hours of work are on a rotating shift roster - four on (two days 0512 - 1730, two nights 1712 - 0530) and four off.
Mōu | About you
Your strong mechanical aptitude, planning and sound problem-solving skills will ensure things run smoothly - as you won't just identify the problem, you'll be part of finding and implementing the solution. Together with good work ethic you'll be able to demonstrate a background of:
* Participating and contributing to a high performing team.
* Operation of touch screen machinery.
* Strong focus on health and safety.
* Working in an environment where you need to be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs.
* Class 1 and Forklift License and OSH Certificate.
* Positive attitude and team player.
