Mō tēnei tūranga | About the opportunity
We’re looking for someone who is skilled at shaping effective learning experiences—someone who connects with people and helps craft solutions that drive real change. As our Senior Capability Consultant NZM & GSC, you’ll play a key role in building technical capability across our New Zealand Manufacturing (NZM) and Global Supply Chain (GSC) teams.
This isn’t just about ticking boxes. It’s about creating learning experiences that resonate—experiences that feel relevant and real to the people who use them, whether they’re on the factory floor or in a leadership role. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand what their teams are trying to achieve, identify capability gaps, and translate those insights into practical, outcome-focused solutions.
A big part of your role will be driving a culture shift around health and safety—helping teams see it not just as a requirement, but as something they genuinely believe in. You’ll bring people together, adapt your approach to suit different audiences, and build trust by being relatable, open-minded, and focused on what works.
And as the manufacturing space evolves, especially with AI and emerging technologies, you’ll help our workforce stay ahead of the curve. You’ll ensure the learning is developed to upskill our people, so they’re ready to grab hold of new opportunities as they arise.
You’ll report to the GM Technical Capability and work alongside subject matter experts, learning designers, and deployment teams to make sure everything we deliver is evidence-based, aligned to business needs, and built to make a real impact.
Mōu | About you
You don’t need to be an expert in manufacturing or supply chain, but you do bring strong experience in adult learning, consulting, and developing programmes that drive performance within complex operational environments.
You’re confident working with senior stakeholders, navigating complexity, and turning insights into practical, fit-for-purpose solutions. You adapt your style to suit different audiences, build trust quickly, and bring people together around shared goals.
You’re curious, open-minded, and future-focused—ready to help our teams grow as AI and new technologies reshape the manufacturing space. You develop learning that prepares people for what’s next, not just what’s now.
Experience in change management or working in a Centre of Excellence is a bonus, but what matters most is your ability to collaborate, communicate clearly, and create learning that sticks and drives measurable business outcomes.
