 Our Co-operative

Te Mātāpuna toa takitini

Fonterra’s strength is in the collective

We are a Co-operative created and owned by Aotearoa New Zealand dairy farmers. Our rich history is built on farming families working together to share the natural goodness of our dairy with the world.

Collaboration, innovation, and passion was the cornerstone of our creation and something we continue to value today through our commitment to care for the land, our animals, and every drop of milk. Our milk creates goodness through nutritious food with safe, quality ingredients that are loved here in New Zealand and around the world.

About Farm Source

Farm Source is the face and place of Fonterra with our shareholders and local communities across rural New Zealand.  We have the people, products, expertise and tools to help our farmers stay one step ahead for a sustainable farming future.

We are like a coach and trusted advisor for our farmers for all things Co-op, Environment, Animal, Milk and People & Communities. We are locals caring for our farming future.

We offer competitive salary packages and a comprehensive range of discounts and benefits. We’re confident that no matter where you join our Co-op or what stage of life you’re in, we’ve got something to suit.

About the opportunity

By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you’re joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career.

As the newest addition to our local Invercargill store, you’ll provide sound farming product advice to our loyal customers. Getting stuck into everything from merchandising to customer service, you’ll never be bored in this fast-paced role!

With the opportunity to hone your agricultural expertise and open the door to multiple career pathways throughout the wider business, there couldn’t be a better place to start.

Please note, this is a part-time role with a minimum of 10 hours per week. Hours of work will be Saturdays 9am – 12pm and the remaining hours/days of work can be scheduled around your availability. This is a fantastic opportunity with a lot of flexibility.

About you
We’re looking for down to earth team players who’ll enjoy a role that keeps them busy and offer the chance for some great farming banter with our friendly customers.

Ideally, you’ll have some prior customer service/sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. That said, we’re equally open to those looking to make a move straight off farm or who are current customer experts keen to learn all about the ag/dairy industry.

Sound like you, other key things we’re on the lookout for includes:
•    A full, clean drivers’ licence
•    A good level of physical fitness – you’ll have no trouble getting your daily steps in!

Why not come and join our team?
You, me, us together.
