The Opportunity
Reporting to the Foods Processing Dayshift Manager, you will lead, coach and develop a motivated team of Process Operators. You will be responsible for organising work and resources, providing performance feedback, and working closely with processing and distribution teams to ensure alignment and cohesion.

With a strong continuous improvement mindset, you will engage your team to achieve key operational targets and deliver outstanding results across the plant. This role also has a strong focus on reporting, planning, and operational control.

With a clear focus on Health and Safety, you will monitor and manage production lines in line with schedules, review processes to optimise performance, and participate in root cause analysis. You will ensure that sampling, cleaning, and daily checks are completed in line with compliance and regulatory requirements.

Please note the hours of work are 6:45am – 5:15pm, Tuesday to Friday.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced or emerging people leader who thrives in fast-paced, innovative environments and can coach individuals to achieve strong results. You will have a genuine passion for continuous improvement, leadership, and safety. We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Previous experience leading, developing, and motivating a team
  • A mechanically minded and innovative approach, ideally with a background in manufacturing or process environments
  • A strong focus on Health, Safety, Quality, and Hygiene
  • Physical capability to lift up to 20kg
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship management, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound and timely decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP, with the ability to learn new systems
