Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity
By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you’re joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career.

We are looking for a proactive, well organised team member to join our busy local Hawera store. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide sound farming product advice to our loyal customers and deliver their orders directly to farm in a timely and professional manner.

This is a varied position combining customer service, sales support, and delivery driving, so you’ll never be bored in this fast-paced environment! Ideally, you’ll bring a strong customer focus, a can-do attitude, and a genuine interest in the agricultural sector.

20 hours per week  Monday to Friday 8 am till 5 pm with rostered Saturdays          
 
Mōu | About You
You’ll be a self-motivated, adaptable team member with excellent customer service and communication skills. You’ll have a high level of physical fitness; we are looking for someone who is hands on and able to sustain repetitive manual handling such as lifting our 25kg bags of product.

Ideally, you’ll have some prior customer service/sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. That said, we’re equally open to those looking to make a move straight off farm or who are current customer experts keen to learn all about the ag/dairy industry.

Sound like you, other key things we’re on the lookout for includes:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or delivery role
  • A clean drivers license 
  • Valid forklift license – or willingness to attain one
  • Knowledge of farming products and practices is a plus
